About UNC Charlotte

UNC Charlotte is the only doctoral-granting institution in a dynamic urban region of 1.8 million people and offers unparalleled educational opportunities to a culturally diverse student body of more than 25,000.  The University, situated on a 1000-acre wooded campus, is the fourth largest of the 17 universities within the University of North Carolina system and is the largest institution in the Charlotte region. The University comprises seven colleges, a University College and a Graduate School.  Degrees are currently offered in 18 doctoral, 59 master's, and 92 bachelor's programs. More than 900 full-time faculty members comprise the university's academic departments.
