Na'Cole Wilson

Associate Director
CHHS Advising Center

I joined the 49er family and the College of Health of Human Services in December 2016. My higher education experience expands across the areas of Admissions, Academic Advising, Continuing Education, Community Engagement, and Teaching. I have exposure to working with a variety of student populations and am fully invested in assisting students with the demands and expectations of the college experience.

Degrees

I graduated from Kennesaw State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Marketing in 2007. Seven years later, in 2014, I graduated from Indiana State University with a Master’s degree in Student Affairs and Higher Education. Afterward, in 2020, I completed a Certificate in Learning and Development through the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. My enthusiasm for teaching and conducting research resulted in me returning to school where I am currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction (Urban Education concentration) degree, also through the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.

Advice to Students

If your goals do not scare you, they are not big enough, so invest in yourself and enjoy the journey along the way.

About Me

I am a proud Georgia Peach! Born in Savannah, GA and raised in Atlanta, GA, I am an expert at ranking fresh seafood and southern cuisines. Outside of being a part-time doctoral student, I enjoy traveling, home decorating, outdoor activities, attending concerts, binge watching Netflix shows, and spending time with my husband and two energetic sons.

I look forward to working with you and helping you during your academic journey at UNC Charlotte! Go Niners!
