WSOC: Mother, Daughter to Graduate Nursing School After a Battle with Cancer

A mother and daughter made a journey together and are graduating from UNC Charlotte with master’s degrees in nursing.
Beniecia Barnett said her mother, Shonicia Jones, was diagnosed with Stage 2 breast cancer, and their bond was an important factor in beating the disease.
